At Modern Carats, we stand behind every fine jewelry item we sell and offer a 30-day hassle-free return policy to ensure that our customers are 100% satisfied with their purchases. If you wish to return a new jewelry item in its original condition within 30 days of receipt, we will provide you with a full refund or exchange.
We offer a free US returns shipping label and do not charge a restocking fee. To initiate a return, simply contact us and we will send you a return label by email within 1 to 2 business days. Please ensure that you print and attach the label to the outside of a shipping box and drop it off at your nearest appropriate shipping center (UPS or FedEx as indicated on the label).
To process a return or exchange, please keep the following in mind:
You must use the provided shipping label (fully insured) to ensure the safe return of the fine jewelry and accurate tracking for quick processing. We will not accept returns or exchanges sent without the provided shipping label.
The jewelry item must be in new, undamaged condition. If the item has been resized, altered, or damaged, we may not be able to offer a full refund or exchange.
Please include all original packaging and contents, as well as any documents you received with the order (such as GIA or IGI grading reports, appraisal certificates, and certificates of authenticity). If these items are not included in the return package, we may deduct a $150 replacement certificate fee from the return/exchange amount.
If you received any free gifts with your order, please include them with the return for a full refund. If you wish to keep the free gifts but return the purchased item, we may charge you the retail value of the free gifts.
After we receive your return (typically within 2 business days of the return date), we will send you an email confirmation. Refunds are processed within 1 to 2 business days after we receive and verify the return. Please note that it may take 2 to 7 business days for the refund to appear in your financial institution, based on their processing times (excluding weekends and holidays).
Free overnight shipping.
A signature is required for delivery of all orders.
We only ship to physical home addresses or business addresses, and do not deliver to P.O. boxes.
Shipping addresses cannot be modified once an order is placed for security reasons.
Once an order is placed, redirecting the package to a different address is not possible.
UPS or FedEx will attempt delivery of your package up to three times. If unsuccessful, the package will be returned to Modern Carats, and we will contact you to discuss further action.
Shipping delays caused by inclement weather, carrier delays, incorrect address, or updated address information are not our responsibility.
